THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR EARRINGS ONLY!

EARRINGS: ¾" x 1⅛"  - Matching Pendant maybe available for purchase on the pendant page.

Some stones look like they were quarried, and some look like they were painted. This is the second kind. Each teardrop cabochon, ¾" by 1⅛", holds a small horizon inside it bands of cream, gold, and umber that settle into something close to a canyon wall at sundown, layered and still.

The settings are as considered as the stone. One cabochon rests in a clean, open-back sterling bezel, letting light pass straight through the banding from behind. Its pair is wrapped in a hand-twisted rope border with a graduated row of ball terminals along the edge, descending in size like the last notes of something beautiful a detail that rewards the close look. Both hang from 12mm sterling lever backs and carry the artist's hand-stamped mark on the reverse.
