THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR A PAIR OF EARRINGS!

Triangle Stone 1¼" x ¾" · Lever back 14mm

There's a whole tree living inside this stone, if you know how to look. Each teardrop cabochon, 1⅛" by ¾", holds a soft sea-green glow smooth, faintly luminous, the kind of translucence that seems to hold light rather than reflect it. This is opalized wood, once a living thing, now something closer to glass.

The settings take two different approaches to the same idea. One cabochon sits in an open silver bezel, cut away so light can move through the stone from behind and set it glowing. Its pair is wrapped in a ribbed border of 14/20 gold-filled ornament, warming the cool green with a thread of gold and giving the earring more visual weight. Both hang from 12mm sterling lever backs, with the artist's hand-stamped mark on the reverse.
