Taos Mountain Cuff
ONE OF ONE • ONLY 1 AVAILABLE
Cuff: ¾” × 6½”, 1⁄16” thick, open-back adjustable Cuff fits wrist 7" to 7½"
There’s a line the mountain draws against the sky every evening, right before the light goes and this cuff carries that line. The ridge is cut clean through the sterling silver, hand-sawn peak by peak, so the mountain isn’t just etched into the band, it’s cut open to it a silhouette you can trace with a fingertip, dark against the polish.
The band itself is worked to a high shine, catching light the way high-desert air does, while the pierced mountainside sits oxidized in shadow along the top edge the darkest line in the piece, exactly where the real ridgeline meets the sky. At each open end, a small Zia sun rests hand-stamped into the silver four rays to each of the four directions, the same symbol that watches over this state from its flag, placed here at the edges like two quiet bookends to the mountain between them. At ¾” wide and a substantial 1⁄16” thick, it has real presence on the wrist without weight; open-backed and adjustable, it settles easily to fit.
This is Taos, worn. A mountain that’s watched over Pueblo land for a thousand years, cut now into something you carry with you.
