Mtorolite Chalcedony Necklace
ONE OF ONE • ONLY 1 AVAILABLE
1¾" x 1⅝" (45mm x 40mm) stone, pendant with 16” chain - Earring may be avaliable on the Earring Page.
Mtorolite carries green the way old copper carries patina soft, mineral, faintly weathered, with darker mottling breaking through like moss on stone left out too long in the rain. Set in a large triangular bezel with one edge cut into a gentle scallop, the stone hangs from an oversized chain of hand-formed oval links, each one slightly different from the last. At 1¾" x 1⅝", the pendant has real presence on a 16" chain substantial, considered, built to be worn as a statement.
The setting is as considered as the stone. A clean bezel frames the triangular form, its top edge finished with a hand-cut scallop rather than a straight line, while the chain itself carries the same handmade character oval links formed and closed by hand, no two quite identical. It's a detail that rewards the close look quiet, deliberate, entirely sure of itself.
