Morenci turquoise has a reputation that precedes it. One of the most celebrated mines in American turquoise history, Morenci has produced stones of exceptional color for over a century and this one carries that legacy in a stone that is small, precise, and impossible to overlook. Vivid sky blue, warm brown matrix patches moving across the surface like topography seen from altitude, ⅞" tall and ⅝" wide. Set in an oxidized oval bezel bordered by twisted rope, then mounted on a 6mm hammered sterling silver band narrower than the heavy ornamental bands, more refined, the kind of band that lets the stone carry the weight without competition. Size 9. Morenci II designates material from the later working of this historic mine the same geology, the same vivid color, the same unrepeatable character. Each stone is its own argument for why this mine matters.

Morenci Turquoise comes from the Morenci open-pit copper mine in Greenlee County, Arizona one of the most historically significant turquoise sources in North America. The mine produced gem-quality turquoise for decades, with original Morenci material now largely exhausted and commanding significant collector prices. Morenci II refers to turquoise recovered from later mining operations at the same site, carrying the same geological signature vivid blue-green color, distinctive warm brown matrix at a period when access to the deposit was renewed. As copper mining continues to reshape the landscape, gem-quality Morenci material of any designation is finite and increasingly scarce. Each stone is unrepeatable.

Most items are eligible for return or exchange. To initiate a return, please contact us within 2–3 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery. Refunds are processed upon receipt of the returned piece.

A NOTE ON RING SIZING

Getting the right fit starts with an accurate measurement. Wide band rings in particular may require sizing up by ¼ to ½ size for a comfortable fit, so please keep that in mind when ordering. If you’re unsure of your size, we recommend visiting a local jeweler for a professional measurement before placing your order. Fire & Stone cannot be held responsible for made-to-order rings that are crafted true to the size provided but do not fit as expected.
DAILY WEAR

Put jewelry on last - after lotion and perfume. Remove before swimming, cleaning , or working with your hands.

CLEANING

Warm water and a drop pf dish soap does the job. Use a soft cloth, dry immediately, and finish with a silver polishing cloth.

TARNISH

Tarnish is natural, not damage. If a piece has an antiqued finish, polish only the raised surfaces to preserve the contrast.

STORAGE

Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or lined box. Keep away from humid areas and direct sunlight to slow tarnishing.
