This is the blue the whole industry measures itself against. Each teardrop cabochon, 9⁄16" by 15⁄16", carries the smooth, saturated sky-blue that gave "Kingman Blue" its name, with just a whisper of darker matrix drifting through like a cloud passing overhead. Clean and largely matrix-free, it's the kind of stone that needs no ornamentation to hold the eye so the silver bezel stays simple, letting the color do the talking.
The one flourish comes at the base: a twisted copper rope tucked along the lower curve of the bezel, warming the cool blue with a thread of rose-gold color. It's a small mixed-metal gesture, silver framing the stone and copper grounding it, easy to miss until the light catches it just right. Both hang from delicate sterling French hook ear wires, hand-stamped .925 on the reverse.
