There is a blue that belongs to the American Southwest and nowhere else the blue of Kingman turquoise at its finest, sky-saturated and immediate, threaded with the finest white spiderweb matrix that collectors have sought for a century. This stone is 2⅜” tall and 1⅜” wide, cut into a triangular shield form that suits its authority no soft edges, no apology, just pure blue held in an oxidized sterling silver bezel with a segmented border and stepped side accents that frame the stone without competing with it. The back plate is an open triangular frame, hand-stamped with the artist’s maker’s mark. Pendant only, no chain. Kingman turquoise at this size and quality is not a casual find. This is the real thing.
