Some earrings hang still, and some earrings move — these belong firmly to the second kind. Above, a clean teardrop of labradorite sits in a simple bezel, its steel-gray surface holding still until it doesn't tilt your head and a flash of electric blue breaks across the stone like lightning caught mid-strike. Below, a cascade of fine silver snake chains falls in uneven lengths, catching light and swinging with every turn of the head, like rain finally breaking over dry ground.
The setting draws a hard line between still and moving. A solid silver crescent cradles the labradorite from beneath a small architectural gesture, modern against the stone's shifting color and from its center, the fringe drops loose and long, nearly 4½" in total. It's a piece built for motion: dance, wind, a walk across a windy mesa, anything that sets the strands swaying. Both hang from sterling lever backs, hand-stamped .925 on the reverse.
