There is a green in Sonoran turquoise that has no equivalent in the stone world vivid, electric, somewhere between lime and apple and neither one exactly, a color that reads alive in any light and demands nothing because it already has everything. This oval stone is 1” wide and 1⅛” tall, its surface a swirling composition of deep green and cream matrix that moves like weather across the face of the stone no two moments the same. Set in an oxidized oval bezel bordered by a heavy twisted rope frame that follows every curve, then mounted on an 8mm hammered sterling silver band wide, substantial, every hammer mark a record of the hand that shaped it. Size 8½. The kind of ring that changes the way a hand looks. The kind of stone that makes people stop and ask.
