THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR A PENDANT ONLY!

Large Oval  - 2” x 1⅜” stone · pendant only

There is a phenomenon in labradorite that has no adequate explanation in ordinary language a light that lives inside the stone and moves, shifts, changes color depending on the angle, the hour, the source. Electric blue bleeds into teal, teal into gold, gold into something that has no name. This stone is 2” tall and 1⅜” wide, and in this piece it is doing everything labradorite is capable of doing. Set in an oxidized sterling silver oval bezel with a twisted rope left border and a segmented right border asymmetrical, deliberate, as if the frame itself is in motion. Then turn it over. A full desert night rendered in hand-pierced sterling silver: bare branching trees rising against an open sky, saguaros at the horizon, a dotted foreground of desert flora, and a full moon above it all. The stone visible through the cutwork below. The maker’s mark stamped quietly into the silver beside it. Front and back, this pendant tells two versions of the same story wandering light, desert night, something alive in the darkness.
