THIS LISTING IS FOR A PAIR OF CLIP-ON EARRINGS!
Teardrop 2” x ¾” - Matching ring may be available for purchase on the ring page.
These earrings carry two materials that have traveled the Southwest together for over two thousand years. Each teardrop cabochon is a composite of spiny oyster and Kingman turquoise warm cream and rust shell meeting vivid blue stone in the bold, irregular patterns that make composite Southwest material so immediately compelling. The stones are sisters same materials, different conversations, each one leading with a different balance of blue and cream that makes the pair more interesting than any matched set could be.
Above each stone a hammered sterling silver shield swings freely broad and luminous, its hand-worked surface catching light with the complexity that only hammer and hand produce. An open circle connector links shield to stone, giving these earrings a two-part movement that is entirely alive at 2” total length. At the base of each bezel a hammered crescent anchors the composition below the stone a subtle detail that grounds the piece and echoes the curve of the shield above. High polish finish keeps the silver bright throughout.
The clip-on backs are secure and comfortable, designed for a full day of wear without compromise. For those who do not have pierced ears, these earrings offer the full drama of the drop the length, the movement, the material without exception.

CLIP-ON Earrings - Turquoise & Spiny Oyster
A note on this stone: the cabochon is a composite two natural materials, spiny oyster and Kingman turquoise, bonded together by a skilled lapidary to create a single unified piece. Both stones are genuine and natural. The composite form is a recognized and celebrated tradition in Southwest lapidary work, allowing the beauty of two rare materials to exist within one setting.
