THIS LISTING IS FOR A PAIR OF CLIP-ON EARRINGS!
2” x ¾” - Matching ring may be available for purchase on the ring page.
These earrings are built for movement. At 2” total length they are long and deliberate a hammered sterling silver paddle at the top, broad and luminous with a surface that catches light the way water does, connecting via an open circle to a teardrop Owyhee jasper cabochon below. The composition swings freely, the stone moving independently of the top element, the whole piece alive at every step.
The stones are sister Owyhee jaspers pale sage and cool grey ground with warm brown vertical striping that runs through each cabochon in quiet, confident lines. The striping on each stone reads differently the same material, the same formation, two distinct expressions of the same geological moment preserved in silica and set in silver in Taos. The high polish bezel keeps the frame clean and the focus entirely on the stone. The hammered paddle above provides contrast matte and textured where the bezel is bright, broad where the stone is tapered a two-part composition that works because each element respects what the other is doing.
The clip-on backs are secure and comfortable, designed for a full day of wear without compromise. For those who do not have pierced ears, these earrings offer everything the length, the movement, the stone, the craft without exception.
