THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR A PENDANT ONLY!
Pedal - 1⅜” x ¾” stone · pendant only
There are stones that carry their geology on the surface literally, visibly, without apology. Badger Pocket jasper is one of them. This freeform rectangular stone is 1⅜” tall and ¾” wide, its upper half a warm ochre and cream banded landscape of horizontal lines so precise they read almost architectural layer upon layer of ancient sediment compressed into something that takes a high polish and holds its color for a thousand years. Then the lower half opens into a natural pocket inclusion a void in the stone left by time and pressure, raw and unpolished where everything else is smooth, a reminder that this is not manufactured beauty but geological fact. Set in an oxidized twisted rope border, the back plate an open freeform frame hand-stamped with the artist’s maker’s mark. Pendant only, no chain. Nothing like it exists.
