Size 12 on a 10mm Ornamental Band
There is something almost aquatic about this stone the way the white and gold pyrite matrix moves across the surface like light through deep water, fractured and alive. The square Kingman turquoise cabochon measures 23mm x 24mm, its nearly perfect geometry holding an electric teal ground threaded with a bold water web pattern that shifts in character with every change of light. This is not a subtle stone. It is a force of nature set in silver.
The square bezel sits within a hand-twisted rope border anchored by ball terminals at each corner a setting that meets the stone’s strong geometry with equal intention. Below it, a triple-stack ornamental shank 10mm of layered sterling silver grounds the piece with the same architectural confidence as the stone it carries. Built for a size 12 hand. Built to be the only ring in the room.
About Kingman Turquoise
The Kingman mine in Mineral Park, Arizona is one of the oldest and most storied turquoise sources in North America, with evidence of mining dating back over a thousand years to the ancient Hohokam and Hualapai peoples who regarded the stone as sacred a fragment of sky pressed into the earth by forces older than memory.
Kingman turquoise is celebrated for its vivid, consistent blue ranging from pale sky to deep electric teal and for its matrix variations, among the most diverse of any American turquoise mine. Water web matrix, where the host rock forms a fluid, wave-like network across the stone’s surface interspersed with flashes of iron pyrite, is among the most visually dramatic and collectible formations the mine produces. Natural, untreated water web Kingman of this clarity and scale is increasingly difficult to source. This stone earned its name.
