Size 12 3/4 on a 10mm Ornamental Band

Some stones arrive already knowing what they are. This rectangular Kingman turquoise cabochon  20mm x 23mm of pure Southwestern sky carries the kind of blue that stops conversation. Clear, vivid, and alive with dark matrix threading through it like lightning caught mid-strike, it sits in a clean rectangular sterling bezel framed by a hand-twisted rope border and anchored by signature ball terminals at each corner.

Below the stone, the band tells its own story. A triple-stack ornamental shank 10mm of layered sterling silver gives this ring the architectural weight it demands. This is not a ring that whispers. It is built for a large hand and a confident presence, and it wears accordingly.

About Kingman Turquoise

The Kingman mine in Mineral Park, Arizona is one of the oldest and most storied turquoise sources in North America, with evidence of mining dating back over a thousand years to the ancient Hohokam and Hualapai peoples who regarded the stone as sacred a piece of sky fallen to earth.

Kingman turquoise is prized for its exceptionally vivid blue, ranging from pale sky to deep electric teal, often laced with dark iron pyrite or black spider-web matrix that collectors seek above all others. The mine has produced some of the finest natural turquoise in the American Southwest, and stones from its depths have adorned the work of master silversmiths for generations. Today, high-quality natural Kingman untreated, unenhanced is increasingly rare and increasingly valued.

This stone is the real thing. Sky-blue, matrix-laced, and pulled from one of the great mines of the American West.
